While the stock anchors points are inside the bed where it’s hard to reach, Bullrings retractable anchor points easily install into the stake pockets on top of your bed rails. Simply pop the stainless steel anchor ring up when you want to use it to secure a load, then hit it down flush when you don’t. Compatible with most Tonneau roll up covers. To get the most out of your tie-down anchors, they can be installed in the 4-6 stake pockets locations of your truck with 1, 2, or 3 pairs available to fit those slots. 1995+ Dodge 2500/3500 models with Dually beds have a variant of stake pocket design that is not compatible with our standard 5068 anchors. This Special Fit model is made for those trucks, and fits in the Front, Middle & Rear Stake Pockets. Installation 1995-2008 - Installation is quick and easy, and requires nothing more than a Phillips head screwdriver. Remove any plastic cap that covers the stake pocket. Use a Philips screwdriver to loosen the two screws in the anchor, so that the steel plate drops down. Place the anchor into the stake pocket at an angle. Pull the anchor ring up, so that the steel plate catches on the metal rail cap below, and tighten down the Phillips screws until they are hand tight (if the plastic railcap is starting to bending/bowing - then it's too tight).
