Crown Automotive's Engine Oil Pump Drive Assembly is designed specifically for Jeep vehicle applications. This assembly features redesigned internals to eliminate the problems with the factory OPDA. The factory Oil Pump Drive Assembly had a seal located underneath the upper bearing, which caused the bearing to fail prematurely. Crown Automotive has redesigned this assembly by relocating the seal to above the upper bearing and adding an oil groove in the shaft. This enables engine oil to flow upwards and lubricate both the upper and lower bearings. This is a crucial component in maintaining the longevity and performance of your Jeep vehicle’s engine.
