Restore your cooling system with the Mishimoto Essentials Bundle. The Mishimoto 6.0L Powerstroke Essentials Bundles includes high-quality upgraded coolant components to replace items we've found to be the most failure-prone. For the 6.0L, we've bundled together our aluminum radiator, silicone radiator hose kit, silicone lower expansion hose kit, coolant filter kit, aluminum degas bottle, and low-temperature thermostat w/housing.As the stand-out component, our aluminum radiator features a full aluminum construction with durable TIG-welded end tanks. This radiator is a two-row unit with a 1.88-in thick brazed aluminum core. To supplement this radiator upgrade, we've included our incredibly robust silicone radiator hose kit and silicone lower expansion hose kit for the 6.0L. Mishimoto silicone hoses are constructed from high-grade 4-ply silicone with heat-resistant embedded fibers for superior heat and pressure tolerance. Within this bundle we've also included several items to protect your Powerstroke. Our coolant filter kit filters solid particles from engine coolant which extends the life of your oil cooler water pump, EGR cooler and other critical engine components. This kit includes our full-aluminum TIG-welded degas bottle, an ideal upgrade to the brittle factory plastic unit. Finally, rounding out our essentials bundle is the Mishimoto low-temperature thermostat. The Mishimoto thermostat has a lower activation temperature (185F) compared to the factory thermostat (192F). The lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, reducing the risk of overheating in hot environments.
