The PL2140 adds a special Recovery Mode feature, which allows the operator to determine how the charger reacts to power outages. Setting Recovery Mode to on allows the charger to automatically resume charging after a power outage, eliminating the need to reset the charger.

Note: Q What if I have this unit connected to my vehicle during the winter and there is a storm that disables my AC power, will it turn back on when power resumes? A If the unit is in Recovery Mode on (RM lED lit), yes, the unit will resume charging based on the last set charging parameters.
