Burnt band and 3-4 frictions? These are typical symptoms of outboard PR bore wear. Our drop-in valve addresses this number one complaint. A simple visual check of the valve and its movement within the bore can reveal signs of obvious outboard wear. Note: This pressure regulator valve can be installed while the transmission is in the vehicle on 1993-2006 models only without the input speed sensor. 2007 and later models equipped with the input speed sensor will require transmission removal.
