Once you’re done with your trip, undo both hooks, and press down on the red button. The strap will retract back in, just like a measuring tape, for compact and tangle free storage. Each tie down features a built-in soft-tie that you can wrap around the handle bars of a motorcycle, or bumper of an ATV. The soft wrap is more secure, and wont scratch your paint like using a metal hook would. Then on the long end of the strap we included a floating D-Ring, so you can create additional loop on that end if needed. The tie down heavy duty 9.5mm coated "S" hooks on both ends with a retention clip that keeps the straps locked on - so it cant accidently come unhooked.
